Education & training
The education and training that King's College London offers across the field of global health is reflective of the broad coalition of expertise that make up Global Health at King's. Our multi-faculty approach aims to teach core research and global health competencies while enabling students to build excellent specialist skills in both clinical and policy contexts.
Our focus on 'translational learning' - theory informed practice and practice informed theory - is exemplified through our wide ranging organisational networks, which facilitate placements with global health organisations in the UK and overseas.
Students who have first-hand experience of evaluation in our Sierra Leone health partnership or policy analysis in UK refugees advocacy organisations leave our educational courses with practical skills for employment that are unusual in the field of global health education.
As well as offering entire taught courses in global health education, we also deliver modules in global health across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the university.
