How to... Achieve the Unthinkable

In conversation with Afshin Ahmadian, the first Iranian to sail across the world

Join us in the Auditorium of Bush House for an exciting How to event with Afshin Ahmadian (Mechatronics, 2007). Afshin will delve into his exciting 11-month journey across the world, where he worked with others from different countries to navigate the oceans of the world.

Afshin took part in The Clipper Race – an 11-month sailing competition for amateurs. The route sails from the UK across the Atlantic Ocean, past South America and South Africa, Australia, China, and the USA. It is a true test of endurance, resilience, and teamwork.

During this event we will delve into this journey and talk about Afshin’s life at King’s and his current career journey.
