Living at Intercollegiate Halls provides King's students with the opportunity to interact with students from all colleges across the University of London.
King’s Residences hold a number of rooms for new undergraduates and postgraduates, and applications can easily be made through our accommodation portal.
Please note that if you select a place at these residences, you will be required to pay a deposit upon securing your room and your contract will be held directly with the University of London.
University of London halls
Before you book your room, please be advised that Wi-Fi coverage in the rooms at Bonham Carter and Warwickshire House does not offer the efficiency and speed experienced at some of the other intercollegiate halls. As such, the weekly rent levels have been adjusted to account for the inconsistency with the Wi-Fi. Wireless network connectivity is available in most places throughout the residence, with very good coverage in communal and study areas, kitchens and other open spaces, but provision is more limited in the bedrooms. While it may be usable, the signal strength and therefore speeds cannot be guaranteed, so you may wish to purchase a personal Wi-Fi device at your own cost.
Because of this limited signal strength in some bedrooms, mobile phones and tablets may struggle to use the networks. Laptops and similar devices should mostly be able to connect for study purposes, but this may not be the case in all rooms. There is no provision for the connection of Smart/IoT devices, games consoles, printers and other devices that connect to wireless networks.
