Italian

About

Did you know: Italy’s real name is The Italian Republic?

Italian is spoken today in many countries including San Marino, Vatican City and Switzerland. It holds a co-official language status in some parts of Slovenia and it is the second-most spoken language in Argentina. There is also a large Italian community in the USA.

Italian has more than 30 dialects and they are all very different to each other. For instance, a simple word as "ragazzo" (boy) becomes "picciottu" in Sicily, "putel" in Trentino Alto Adige and "guaglione" in Campania. We teach Standard Italian.

Italy is a fantastic travel destination with over 54 UNESCO heritage sites, which is more than any other country in the world.
