About

Did you know that the word Punjab comes from Persian and means ‘The Land of Five Rivers’? It is the official language of the State of Punjab in India, but the biggest speaker group is found in Pakistan. It is one of the largest immigrant languages spoken in Canada. There are more than 100 million native speakers. Punjabi is one of the few languages that can be written in two different scripts, the Shahmukhi and Gurmukhi scripts. The popularity of the language continues to rise and is spoken across the globe.

Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced native speakers. They use their extensive knowledge of the language, literature and culture to inspire and encourage students to progress in their learning and develop a high level of competence in the language.

Our people

Our teachers are native speakers and are well versed in the latest methodology and pedagogy of language teaching, also bringing an immersive cultural experience to the classroom. They use the communicative approach which encourages students to speak the language throughout the lesson, enabling students to quickly pick up the target language.
